CLEAN AGAIN
Nature-Focused Arctic Polar Bear, articulated soapstone detail
Clean Again is a contemporary polar bear sculpture hand carved from natural soapstone by Canadian sculptor Wesley Booker. This one-of-a-kind wildlife artwork captures a rare and intimate moment — a polar bear shuffling through the snow, rubbing and cleaning its fur.
Rather than portraying dominance alone, this sculpture explores movement, instinct, and the quiet rhythms of Arctic life. The posture is grounded yet playful, conveying both strength and vulnerability within a single gesture.
The stone’s natural raw edges have been intentionally preserved, allowing the organic character of the material to remain visible. A subtle, light airbrushed finish creates a soft white appearance across the surface, evoking the layered texture of polar bear fur while maintaining the integrity of the soapstone beneath. The effect enhances luminosity without masking the stone’s natural qualities.
To protect the sculpture, the surface is sealed with a durable hard wax finish. This protective layer helps guard against minor scratches while deepening the tonal richness of the stone.
Carved with refined transitions and balanced mass, Clean Again is designed as a fine art statement piece rather than decorative wildlife art. It is intended for collectors of contemporary sculpture, modern interiors, and those drawn to northern imagery and symbolic renewal.
