This one-of-a-kind bronze sculpture is a direct casting of the original soapstone work Brother. The piece retains the quiet weight and grounded movement of the carved form, translated into bronze through a single casting. An Italian black patina is applied and selectively worked back along edges, allowing the warmth of the bronze to emerge subtly through the surface.

The bear’s posture emphasizes restraint and forward motion without aggression, balancing strength with stillness. This work exists as a singular object rather than an edition. The first bronze cast by Wesley Booker - collector edition.
